a thousand winds「千の風になって」の歌がはやっているという。
ユンクがよくとりあげる言葉に、息、ハウフHauchがある。息は、ギリシャ語で、プネウマpneuma。
ギリシャ語のプネウマは、ドイツ語のHauchでも、風をも意味する。息=風は、生命そのもの意味する。
日本語でも、息は生きと同じ発音なので、発想は同じなのではないかと思われる。
息=風=生命は、命のいぶきとなる。この風は、キリスト教では、聖霊を意味する。der Heilige Geist   ,the Holy Spirit.
 
カトリックの井上洋治神父が主宰する「風の家」というのが
あるが、井上神父は、つねに風、プネウマについて語っている。

ユンクがよくいっているのが、ヘブライ語では、息ハウフHauchは、ルーアッハ＝ruach 、これはドイツ語よみだそうで、ヘブライ語では、ruahというのだそうだ。

訳になっている。
ドイツ語版では、ネイティブ・アメリカンのことばになっていた。
