9月号に出るのかしら？それとも同名の別の雑誌？
論文みるまでは何ともいえないなぁ。

チームについて記事をのせています。

これによると、イギリスだけでなく、他のヨーロッパ諸国の航海日誌も含め、
それらを気候変動に関する歴史的な資料として整理することが、目的であった
ようです。

これまで、このような資料が注目されてこなかった理由として、

1.計器によるものではなく、人間の観察なので、信頼できないとされた
2.その時代の特殊な用語や記載形式などの解釈

この結果は観測者属人性の誤差は求めたい変化に対して十分小さい（S/Nが高い）ということですよね？
元ACの米は観測地点の偏り（属地性とでもいうのかな）がコンタミしてないか、ではないでしょうか。
