Apparently the situation is that the metallic objects in a microwave tends to cause discharge from pointy features which many spoons lack which therefore make it 'safe' to leave them in, and that incidentally a disturbance in a container preemptively cause sudden boiling as the container is being heated and prevents it happening later on.
So at the end of the day I think one of anonymous remarks on your original post was spot on, and it's a stupid thing that rarely gets you but nevertheless not a wise habit to have.
I don't think it's about being 'docile'(so to speak) and getting doxxed, more like having chill and common sense. Trying to substantiate myths is one thing, getting stuck on a question and rambling in vain is another...
