これは実は前の文章全部の言い換えで、the other insofar as he himself=the other of the Otherがすなわちa subject、つまり前の文でthe subject相手の主体がrecogniseした主体「わたし」のことワン。ちょこぱふぇ!ラカンっち方程式好きワンね。
