How do I sync my docs with OnLive Files? When you use the OnLive Desktop iPad app to edit your documents, the documents are automatically synchronized with OnLive Files. If you are disconnected (e.g. loss of Wi-Fi, App termination, etc.), and you do not reconnect within a few minutes, your Documents folder, as well as open and unsaved files, will be saved to OnLive Files.

とりあえずUSアカウントでiPadにアプリをインストールして使ってみたけど、ダメだねこりゃ。
まず、Webブラウザが無い。
それではと、US版のFireFoxやSafariのインストーラをPCでダウンロードしてリモートデスクトップに送ってみたけど、リモートでは適切なパーミッションが無いと言うメッセージが出て、インストーラが起動できない。
デスクトップにあるGetting Startedを見ると、Windowsの設定もアプリケーションの設定も変えられないらしい。
確かにコントロールパネルも表示されないしね。
プリインストールされているExcelを試すと、セルに一つ数字を入力する度に、セルをダブルタップして入力状態にして、もう一度タップしてキーボードアイコンを表示して、もう一度タップしてキーボードを表示して...と4回くらいタップしないといけないので、使い物にならない。
これはPCで作成したオフィス文書をiPadでブラウジングするためのブラウザと割り切った方が良さそうだね。

インストールは有料プランだよ
無料で使えるのはあくまで有料プランを検討するためのお試しってとこでしょ

それは分かってるんだけど、IEも入ってない、ってことは、そもそもリモートデスクトップからネットに繋げないのでは？って心配があるんだよね。
ウィルス対策ソフトらしきものも入ってないしね。
どうも、あちこちに思わぬ制限がありそうなので、実際にソフトをインストールして試せない無料版からいきなり有料版を選択するのは、敷居が高すぎるかな。

ネットに繋げないなら、アクティベーションが必要なソフトは使えないか。
高価なCADなどのビジネスソフトは、結構凝ったアクティベーションシステムを使っている場合が多いから、その手のは全滅な気がする。
そもそもAdmin権限やMACアドレスが無いとインストールできないソフトは使えないか。
グループウェアも使えない。
クラウドやオンラインストレージも使えない。
OnLiveのは、ウェブ経由でファイルをやりとりするのがちょっと面倒くさいんだよね...
周辺機器ももちろん使えない。
リアルタイム性がないから、ゲームも出来ない...となると結局、日本製HENTAIゲーム専用？

CDやDVDのisoファイルをマウントするユーティリティも、きっとインストールできない気がする。
ドライブからしかインストールできないソフトも無理かな。

昨日アップロードしてデスクトップにコピーしておいたFireFoxとSafariのインストーラ、今日見たら消えてた...(´Д`;;)
ファイルは個人用のDocumentsフォルダに保存した物しか保持されないみたいだね。
有料版でアプリをインストールしたときのアイコンくらいは保持されるんだろうか...
