マイクロソフトはデータセンターのインフラに莫大な投資をしている＝この分野に本気だ。

というような話に見えますね。

MSやグーグルやアマゾンのようにでかいところには100万台くらいあって、YahooやFacebookみたいなところもあるし、ほかのところでも10万台やそこらは抱えてる
という話ですよ
だいたいバルマーはグーグルにはもっとあると言ってるんだが
これが自慢話に見えるだなんてどれだけ僻み根性なんだかねえ

自分たちはこの規模のパブリッククラウドの構築を理解する数少ない企業の一つだ，と自慢しているわけです．
自慢話に見えるのは正常だと思いますよ．自慢していいことだと思いますし．
