"We are now accepting contributions for the Slackware Linux Project. Slackware users who download their software rather than purchasing our CD products are encouraged to support continued Slackware development in this way."

という具合に、Slackware Projectのための寄付ではなく、Patrickの医療費のための寄付をしたいと思ってくれている場合は・・・という事です。
